The Blue Sound
All of the SESTRONIX BLUE units have the same analog BLUE circuitry. There is a shaping filter to minimize the low frequency distortion followed by THREE stages of FET (field effect transistor) stages that mimic a warm over-driven tube amplifier. Get the sound you want using a clean amplifier at any volume! Very sensitive to your guitars Volume and Tone settings.
Drive: Go from a nearly linear to a gritty-sparkly sound
Filter: This baby has a MID-CUT filter around 800 HZ for a great rhythm tone that stays out of the way of the rest of the band.
Level: Set this for balance for the drive and your guitars volume settings.

The Red Sound
All of the SESTRONIX RED units have the same analog RED circuitry. There is a shaping filter to minimize the low frequency distortion followed by Low Noise Transistor gain stage that drives a pair of symmetrical diodes. This gives a warm distortion with “creamy sustain”. Get the sound you want using a clean amplifier at any volume! Somewhat sensitive to your guitar’s Volume and Tone settings.
There are 3 controls that allow you to shape your sound:
Drive: Set the distortion for your taste
Filter: This baby has a LOW-CUT filter that minimizes the distortion on the low tones, especially at the higher drive setting. Works great for cleaning up HB pickups
Level: Set this to put you where you need to be in the mix!
